About Me
I started my career in healthcare, where precision, calm under pressure, and following process were non-negotiable — traits that turned out to map directly onto running production infrastructure. A growing curiosity about automation pulled me toward cloud and DevOps, and I haven't looked back since.
Today I design and operate cloud-native systems on AWS: containerizing applications with Docker, orchestrating them on Kubernetes, provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, and wiring it all together with GitOps using ArgoCD. I care about systems that are observable, reproducible, and boring in the best way — because boring infrastructure means nobody gets paged at 3 AM.
I'm a builder at heart, and I learn best by shipping real projects — every project on this site runs the same patterns I'd bring to a production team on day one.
Toolbox
Selected Work
Highly available web app across public/private subnets with ALB, Auto Scaling and RDS Multi-AZ, fully provisioned with Terraform.
Reusable, versioned Terraform modules for VPCs, EKS clusters and IAM roles, with remote state in S3 and locking via DynamoDB.
Production-style MERN todo app deployed on EKS via Helm charts, with MongoDB replica sets, ClusterIP services and Nginx Ingress.
Automated build, test, scan and deploy pipeline: Docker image build, push to Amazon ECR, then a Git commit that triggers GitOps sync.
App-of-Apps ArgoCD pattern managing every chart and platform tool from a single Git repository, with environment-specific values files.
Multi-stage Dockerfiles and Compose stacks for local development, mirroring the production Kubernetes topology.
How it ships
The GitOps pipeline every project on this site is built around.
Career Journey
Started my career delivering allied healthcare services — where precision and process discipline became second nature.
Made the switch — completed a structured DevOps & Cloud certification covering Linux, networking and automation fundamentals.
Built hands-on AWS projects: VPC design, EC2 fleets, IAM least-privilege policies and three-tier web architectures.
Moved from console clicks to infrastructure as code, writing reusable, version-controlled Terraform modules.
Containerized full-stack applications, writing multi-stage Dockerfiles optimized for size and build speed.
Deployed and operated workloads on Kubernetes — Deployments, Services, Ingress, StatefulSets and Helm charts.
Built GitHub Actions pipelines to test, build and push container images automatically on every commit.
Adopted ArgoCD and the App-of-Apps pattern to manage clusters declaratively, straight from Git.
Now seeking a DevOps / Cloud Engineer role where I can bring this same rigor to a production team.
